Itinerary
Day 01 | From Kathmandu drive to Arughat Bazaar by bus which takes about eight hours and trek to Arkhet Bazar which takes about two hours. |
Day 02 | Trek from Arkhet Bazar to Machha Khola and it takes about six hours. |
Day 03 | Trek from Machha Khola to Yaru khola which takes about six hours. |
Day 04 | Trek from Yaru khola to Lokpa and it takes about seven hours. |
Day 05 | Trek from Lokpa to Chumling (Lower Tsum) which takes about five hours. |
Day 06 | Trek from Chumling to Chhokangparo (Upper Tsum) and it takes about seven hours. |
Day 07 | Trek from Chhokangparo to Nile/Chhule, visit Milarepa Piren Phu Cave on the way and it takes about five hours. |
Day 08 | Trek from Nile/Chhule to Mu Gompa (3700 m), visit Dhephyudonma Gompa (4060 m) which takes about five hours. |
Day 09 | Trek from Mu Gompa to Rachen Gompa, visit Gonhgye Gompa (Nyigma-pa Buddhist sect) and it takes about five hours. |
Day 10 | Trek from Rachen Gompa to Dumje which takes about seven hours. |
Day 11 | Trek from Dumje to Philim (cross Ripchet) and it takes about eight hours. |
Day 12 | Trek Philim to Deng (2095m.) and it takes about six hours. |
Day 13 | Trek Deng to Lhogaon (3100m.) via Namrung (2900m.). it takes about eight hours. |
Day 14 | Trek Lhogaon to Samdo (3690m.) via Samagaon (3390m.) which takes about eight hours. |
Day 15 | Rest day in Samdo and enjoying the view over there. |
Day 16 | Trek from Samdo to Larkya La Phedi (4460m.) which takes about three hours. |
Day 17 | Trek from Larkya La Phedi to Larkya La (Pass) (5135m.) to Bimthang (3590 m.) and it takes about seven hours. |
Day 18 | Trek from Bimthang to Dharapani (1860 m.) which takes about four hours. |
Day 19 | Drive from Dharapani to Besishahar via Jagat (1800m). which takes about five hours. |
Day 20 | Drive from Besishahar to Kathmandu |
